US Treasury Department imposed new sanctions on as many as 13 Iranian individuals, in addition to another 12 institutions, in retaliation to Iran's latest ballistic missile test, which has, recently, taken place. US Treasury Department announced in a press statement issued here today that the sanctions are to include interests of these institutions and banning them dealing with US citizenry, indicating that these companies are backing up Iran's Ballistic Missile-launching Program, which are mushrooming across many countries, and related to members of Iran Revolutionary Guard. Citing Iran's sustainable support of terrorism and developing ballistic missiles' program constitute regional threat to the allies of the US, all over the world, asserting that Washington will continue exerting efforts to face mischievous and harmful Iranian activities, in the region. According to the statement the sanctions are in harmony with the US obligations, in accordance with the Nuclear Accord with Iran, known as the Comprehensive Joint Work Plan.
