The mosque's official in the Canadian city of Quebec, Mohammed Yanjwi said that six people were killed and eight wounded when gunmen opened fire in the mosque during evening prayer. He further said that he received an urgent tip off and distress calls from people inside the targeted mosque during evening prayer. A witness reported that about three gunmen opened fire against about 40 worshippers inside the Islamic Cultural Center's mosque in Quebec. On his part, a police spokesman said that two people were arrested after the shooting at the mosque, confirming the fall of dead and wounded and that the police imposed a security cordon around the mosque. So far, no one has claimed responsibility for this shameful terrorist act.
