Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Shiekh, Speaker of the Shura Council, met at his office in Riyadh today with the speaker of the Canadian senate George Furey who is currently on an official visit to the Kingdom at an invitation from the Shura Council speaker. During the meeting, Al Al-Shiekh valued high the bilateral relations binding the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Canada in all fields, hoping that the current visit would contribute to further boosting the bilateral relations between the two countries in general and parliamentary ties between the Shura Council and Canadian Senate in particular. He briefed his guest on the mechanisms of the Shura Council as well as the concepts on which the Kingdom's vision 2030 and the national transformation programs were designed.
