The Conference of Global Coalition against Daesh terrorist organization opened its activities here today in the presence of Chiefs of General Staff of 14 countries participating in the Coalition. The meeting discussed upgrading coordination among the representatives of the participating countries and promoting efforts of the international coalition which has recently achieved significant progress in its operations aimed at paralyzing the terrorist organization's capabilities as well as to discuss ways to enhance the participating Arab and Muslim countries in the Coalition and identify and understand the current challenges and emergency developments in the fight against Daesh terrorist organization. In his opening speech of the Conference, the Chief of Staff General Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Bunyan conveyed the greetings of Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense as well as his thanks to the attendees for their participation and the exchange of ideas to achieve the desired goal of holding this conference. He added that the Conference comes as an extension of the previous important conferences held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the level of Chiefs of General Staff of the Coalition's states with active participation of a large number of countries in the world to combat terrorist organizations, topped by Daesh terrorist organization. --More
