The Yemeni Cabinet stressed here today that lasting peace, in the country, will only be achieved through commitment to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states' initiative and its executive mechanism, the outputs of the National Dialogue and the UN Security Council relevant resolutions, notably Resolution no. 2216. The Yemeni Cabinet, during its regular meeting, headed by the Premier Ahmed Obaid bin Dagher, reaffirmed its commitment to a lasting and just peace, aspired by the Yemenis to set up a federal state. It noted to victories achieved by the army and popular resistance, in the liberation of Dhubab city, in Taiz Province and victories that have been achieved, in the province of Saada, the stronghold of the putsch-wise Houthis.
