US president-elect Donald Trump has named a top Republican Party official to serve as his White House press secretary, according to dpa. Sean Spicer, 45, has been serving as a spokesman for Trump during the presidential transition and has been the spokesman at the Republican National Committee since 2011. Trump also named campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks and transition spokesman Jason Miller to serve on his communications team along with Dan Scavino, who will oversee social media.
