The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah palace here on Monday afternoon. At the outset of the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed deep thanks and appreciation to the leaders of the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait for the warm reception and generous hospitality accorded to him and the accompanying delegation during his official visits to these states and for what has been characterized by the meetings and discussions of strengthening the relations of brotherhood in all fields to serve the common interests and achieve the aspirations of the peoples of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arabia States. He also expressed his great appreciation to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Government and people of Bahrain for what has been accorded to him and the leaders of the GCC member states and the efforts made during the 37th session of the GCC Supreme Council recently held in Manama, which had a great impact on the success of its work, wishing him every success and the march of the Council further progress and prosperity. Then, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on the results of his meeting with Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet's Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman and the results of his reception of the Prime Minister of Britain, Theresa May at his residence in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as his meetings with the member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Sharjah Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al-Qasimi and with British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson. In his statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session, the Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi, said that the Cabinet commended "Al-Sakhir Declaration" of the 37th summit of the GCC Supreme Council and its confirmation of the importance of continuing to work in implementation and application of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's vision adopted at Riyadh Summit 2015 for its integrated framework and wise approach to deal with these variables on the basis of maintaining the higher interests of the GCC's Member Countries, their achievements and the gains of their peoples and achieving the desired goal of integration and unity among the GCC countries in political, economic, military and security fields. --More
