King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action held a press conference here today, reviewing difficulties facing the center, in its endeavor to provide Yemeni people with humanitarian aid, as the Houthi militia men prevented its crews and sometimes the militias detain some of them, in addition to other challenges before humanitarian efforts. During the conference, the staff of the center also presented a comprehensive report on their deed, throughout the previous 18 months. The conference was addressed by the Executive Director of the center Dr. Maher Al-Hadrawi and other senior staff of the center, who added that that the total cost of aid awarded to Hodeida Governorate, certified by documented licenses issued by the UN Humanitarian Affairs' Office from April 2015 up to Oct., 2016, stood at 1.358.5 metric ton of foodstuffs and non-foodstuff items. The center functions in line with the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, during the inauguration of the center, he concluded.
