On behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Abdullah bin Yahya Al-Mualami has signed the Paris Agreement on Climate Change here on Thursday, in the presence of the Secretary General of the UN Ban Ki Moon. In a press statement on this occasion, he underscored the significance of great attention displays by the leadership and government of the Kingdom on operation to fight the climate change and its causes, to reduce heat emissions, that inflict widespread damages on the Earth, with emphasis on the need to provide reasons to ensure provision of safe and clean energy sources, and reduce global warming.
