The Ministry of Interior said in a statement issued today that /Mohammed bin Oqla bin Mahylan Al-Sharari- Saudi national - was executed in Jouf region today, on Tuesday, dated 24/01/1438 H corresponding to 25/10/2016 G after being convicted of smuggling a large amount of the prohibited amphetamine pills. The Ministry said that the General Court convicted the smuggler; the sentence was endorsed by the Appeal and Supreme Courts; and a royal order was issued to execute the sentence. The Ministry of Interior affirms that the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is keen on maintaining of security, establishment of justice and implementation of the rulings of Allah Almighty against anyone who attacks the secured people and sheds their blood; and it warns anyone who tries to commit such actions that he or she will be legally punished.
