A press statement announced here today, on the occasion of a visit paid by the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden Stefan Lovfen to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Muharram 22, 1438 AH, corresponding to 23 Oct., 2016, as follows: The Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lovfen and accompanying delegation arrived here on the evening of Saturday 21, 01, 1438 AH. At King Khalid International Airport, he was received by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Region and the Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majid Al-Qassabi. During the visit, the Prime Minister has met with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Crown Prince and Minister of Defense, Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majid Al-Qassabi, Head of the Human Rights Commission Dr. Bandar Al-Ayban and other senior officials. The Prime Minister and the King have held a meeting to exchange points of view and envisioning means to promote and consolidate bilateral relations, in addition to discussing regional as well as international issues of mutual interest, including situations, in Yemen and Syria, challenges facing the region, peace process' future, in the Middle East, and significance of revamping the UN role to achieve international security and peace. -- more
