The Yemeni government decided to send a message to the Arab Coalition command requesting the prevention of entrance of non-licensed vessels into Yemeni ports or even approach to its coasts and work to submit a complaint to the UN Security Council against Iran's violations in Yemeni waters. The decision came after a discussion held by the Yemeni government in the Yemeni city of Al-Mukalla today on the Iranian interventions in the Yemeni affairs, citing the penetration of its vessels to the Yemeni waters to smuggle weapons on fishing boats, affiliated to Houthi militias, according to a report carried by the Yemeni news agency. The government confirmed that it obtained evidence of Iran's smuggling weapons to the Houthi militias and pro-Saleh forces using fishing boats in addition to conducting acts of espionage and trafficking of mercenary fighters from some African horn countries.
