Turkey today condemned the Houthi and Saleh militias unilateral decisions in Yemen, latest of which was the formation of a salvage government in the country. Turkish ambassador to Yemen Levent Eler said during an audience with the Yemeni President Abdrabbou Mansour Hadi in Riyadh that such steps constitute another obstacle before peace in Yemen. The ambassador also denounced the attack launched against a civil UAE vessel last Saturday, noting that the attack is a flagrant threat on the international navigation. The two sides reviewed the distinguished ties binding Yemen and Turkey at all levels, and discussed a number of issues of mutual concern, according to the Yemeni government-run news agency which carried the report. The ambassador also conveyed the assertion of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that his country's support for the legitimate government would continue until security, stability and peace were achieved in Yemen. The Turkish envoy conveyed an invitation to President Hadi to attend the Energy conference to be held in Istanbul from 9 -13 October 2016.
