The Japan Meteorological Agency says a moderately strong earthquake shook the Japanese capital for the third time in four days, according to AP. The agency says the magnitude 5.0 quake stuck at 7:25 a.m. Wednesday Japan time about 50 kilometers (30 miles) northeast of Tokyo in southern Ibaraki prefecture at a depth of 50 kilometers. There was no tsunami risk, and there were no immediate reports of damage or injury. A magnitude 5.0 earthquake Sunday, also in Ibaraki, was followed by a 5.2 quake in Chiba prefecture Tuesday.
