The Security spokesman of Interior Ministry stated that at 2:15 o'clock after midnight on Sunday, 28-29/9/1437 AH and at the intersection of Palestine Street and Hail Street near the parking of Dr. Suleiman Faqih Hospital in Jeddah, security men suspected the situation of a person and his suspicious movements, and when they intercepted and dealt with him as the situation required, he initiated to blow himself up with an explosive belt he was wearing inside the hospital's parking, which resulted in his death and slightly wounding two security men who were taken to the hospital; while no one of the passers-by or those present at the site were exposed to any harm, except for damages to some cars parking at the site. Security authorities started at the time the criminal investigation procedures of the crime and the identification of the perpetrator, and an appending statement will be issued later on the latest developments.
