Published in Saudi Press Agency on 27 - 06 - 2016

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the meeting held by the Council of Ministers on Monday evening at the Safa Palace in Makkah.
At the outset of the meeting, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques thanked Allah Almighty for this blessed country s great and unique blessing, serving the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madinah and worshippers, stressing that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is proud and honored for the efforts, attention, development, construction and expansion of the Two Holy Mosques and the holy sites to provide the highest degree of comfort, tranquility, security and reassurance for all Muslims who come to this Holy Land and seeks reward from Allah Almighty.
The king ordered redoubling of efforts to provide more comfort and reassurance to the worshippers during these days which are witnessing great intensity in the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan, praying to Allah to accept from them their worship, give guidance to all those who serve the visitors of the House of God and maintain the grace of security and stability for the kingdom.
The Council hailed the great efforts by the security services to enable worshippers to perform their rituals in ease and comfort.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency following the session, Minister of State, Cabinet s Member and Acting Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Essam bin Saad bin Said explained that the Council of Ministers thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the great attention and care enjoyed by Makkah and Madinah to enable worshippers to perform rituals in an atmosphere of security, peace of mind, comfort and convenience, valuing, in this context, his visit to the city of Madinah and launching of a number of new development projects at a total cost estimated at SR4,114 billion. The Council stressed that the order by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to provide more than SR1.691 for the beneficiaries of social security aid for Ramadan embodies the keenness and interest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to provide a decent life for all families of social security and meet their daily needs.
The Cabinet hailed the preventive efforts carried out by the security authorities to uncover criminal networks schemes that seek to harm the people of the nation by targeting them with narcotics and psychotropic substances and confronting them, referring in this regard to thwarting many attempts at smuggling drugs into the country. The Council valued what was done by the security authorities of the speedy arrest of the perpetrators of the heinous crime disapproved by religion and human nature and which reflects delusions of Daesh s followers which is far from the true Islamic religion.
