Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton warned Tuesday that her Republican challenger Donald Trump would be a disaster for the US economy. "Just like he shouldn't have his finger on the (nuclear) button, he shouldn't have his hand on the economy," Clinton said in a speech in Columbus, Ohio. She charged that Trump has no actual plans and would take the US economy back to the precarious situation it was in before the 2008-09 financial crisis. The speech followed a similar address earlier this month in which she warned that Trump would be dangerous on foreign policy as the two candidates look toward the November presidential election, dpa reported. Trump shot back that Clinton supported policies that had damaged the economy and noted the loss of manufacturing jobs since her husband Bill Clinton was president in the 1990s.
