"Cougar" Search and Rescue Aircraft of Saudi Royal Air Forces arrived in Konya Military Base, Turkey today, to participate in Al-Nour Drill 2016. Saudi Royal Air Forces Group participating in the exercise arrived in Turkey yesterday and was received by the drill Commander, Squadron Leader Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani. He explained that participating in this drill aims to deepen the bonds of cooperation and joint action between the Royal Saudi Air Forces and the countries participating in the drill, exchange of combat experience, and develop them to professionally raise the level of combat readiness at the highest safety ratings to reflect the image of our armed forces of development and excellence at the global level. The exercise, in which Azerbaijan, Armenia, Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkish Air Forces are participating, comes within the beforehand scheduled training plans of Saudi Royal Air Forces to raise the state of preparedness and readiness for all its pilots.
