The Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Mohammed Bin Ibrahim Al-Suwayel met here today with regional Chief Executive Officers of local and international specialized companies in the field of telecommunications and information technology, where he briefed them on the objectives and initiatives for which the ministry is looking forward to be implemented within the framework of the "National Transformation Program for 2020," for the achievement of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The Minister reviewed the objectives of the ministry with a focus on rehabilitation of Saudi's skilled human capital and to hire him to reduce the gap between supply and demand in the telecommunications and information technology sector, wishing further efforts to move to a higher level in the construction sector capacity. Dr. Al-Suwaiyel said that the ministry is working in partnership with the private sector, especially in the global and domestic sector of major telecommunication companies on important initiatives to improve the ICT skills of Saudis and increase their awareness and interest in that. This program aims to recruit 20,000 Saudis between 2016 and 2020 to reduce the gap between supply and demand.
