Jeddah-based Organization of Islamic Cooperation denounced an armed attack launched early today against the headquarters of general intelligence at Al-Buqa'a camp in Jordan, killing five intelligence officials. In a statement, the Secretary General of the OIC Iyad bin Amin Madani described the act as terrorist crime contradicting all humanitarian values and principles. He expressed confidence in the Jordanian security authorities to reveal the mysteries of the crime and bring the culprits before justice, confirming the stand of the OIC countries by the side of Jordanian government for the preservation of the safety of its citizens and expatriates residing in Jordan, and extending his condolence to the families and relatives of the victims as well as the Jordanian government and people.
