President of the Human Rights Commission Dr. Bandar bin Mohammed Al-Aiban headed the Saudi delegation to the tenth session of the Commission on Arab Human Rights that was devoted to the discussion of the first report of the Kingdom, according to the Arab Charter on Human Rights. He said "Security, stability and prosperity is an essential factor in the march of civilization toward sustainable development that respects and protects human rights through the enactment of laws and regulations, and the establishment of government institutions and support civil society institutions." He explained that the report contains detailed information on the efforts and achievements in the field of human rights on the ground in Saudi Arabia, in a legal and institutional framework that promotes and protects human rights, reinforced control measures, and means of effective remedies.
