Saudi Ambassador to Algeria Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh hailed the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' program for Hajj and Umrah, which aims at strengthening ties among Muslims in various world regions as well as providing people with the chance to perform the rituals of Hajj and Umrah in comfort and tranquility. The ambassador highly valued the noble purpose of the program of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Hajj and Umrah, stressing that the program enjoys the personal follow-up by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosque. He pointed out that more than 22000 Muslims (male and female) from about 150 countries have benefited from the program, which is supervised by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, since its inception in 1417. The Saudi ambassador made these remarks here on Thursday to Saudi Press Agency, on the occasion of the departure of 35 Algerian persons for the kingdom to perform Umrah in the framework of the Program of the Custodian of the Two Holy for Hajj and Umrah.
