The historical relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America dated back to 1931, when first signs of oil production had begun to appear in a commercial way in the country, and the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud had given the right for oil exploration to an American company, followed by the signing of a cooperation pact between the two countries in 1933 which helped to support this vital economic aspect, which has become a global economic force in this age.
