Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Under the title (Mohammed bin Salman and the post-oil age), Al-Sharq Newspaper wrote that the Saudi citizen is looking forward to April 25 to be a pivotal date in changing stage towards modern scientific strategy based on systematic and comprehensive studies in economic leap after 65 years of total reliance on petroleum and its products. It said speaking to Bloomberg TV yesterday, the Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman stressed that the kingdom will announce a comprehensive plan "to prepare itself for the post-oil age this April 25" adding that oil is one of the most important elements for the "national transformation program, which will be launched after a month or 45 days following the announcement this month. The paper said it is the modern vision of how to manage the crises conducted by the young Prince, After oil prices are putting severe pressure on state budgets and economies of citizens. --More
