Albanian authorities have returned to Greece six Syrians who had illegally crossed the border. Police said Saturday they arrested a 47-year old Albanian who had assisted the Syrians to cross in a mountainous area near Gjirokastra, 250 kilometers (155 miles) south of Tirana, for 300 euros ($335) each. The Albanian is charged with assistance to illegal border crossing, which is punishable by up to seven years' imprisonment, AP reported.
