At least 30 people were killed and more than 50 others injured on Friday in a suicide attack that targeted a football game in Babel province, according to local police. A suicide attacker wearing an explosives belt blew himself up among a gathering of Iraqis watching a local football game held at a military site south of the capital Baghdad, sources at the police command in the provincial capital Hillah told dpa. Ambulances rushed the injured to nearby hospitals as security forces cordoned off the explosion site fearing that secondary attacks targeting the civilians who coming to the aid of victims. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
