145th session of the Arab League Council at the level of the Arab foreign ministers is began here today under chairmanship of Bahraini Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmad Al Khalifa with presence of Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi, Secretary General of the Arab League. Adel bin Ahmad Al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs, led the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation to the meeting. The meeting aims to discuss issues pertaining to the political, economic and social issues in addition to the current issues and challenges facing the Arab nation, particularly in the fields of security and combating terrorism as well as the latest developments in Palestine, Yemen, Libya and Syria. The ministerial session will discuss preparations of the coming Arab Summit where Mauritania seeks to host the next summit on July.
