Arab Interior Ministers Council renewed intention to move towards achieving security and stability of Arab countries, and to ensure the rights of Arab citizens and to address risks that threaten the security and safety. At the conclusion of the 33rd session held in Tunis, a statement was issued by the General Secretariat of Arab Interior Ministers Council discussed a number of important issues and topics related to Arab strategy to combat the illegal use of drugs and psychotropic substances, Arab security strategy, Arab Strategy to combat terrorism, Arab strategy for traffic safety, Arab strategy for Civil Protection (Civil Defense), in addition to the fifteenth annual report to follow up implementation of the Arab Convention against terrorism. The Council adopted recommendations issued by conferences and meetings which organized by the General Secretariat of the Council during the year of 2015, and the results of the joint meetings held during the same year. The Council also adopted the report addresses Naif Arab University for Security Sciences' activities for the year of 2015, expressing appreciation for the efforts of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, who is also Chairman of the Supreme Council of the University, to support this scientific edifice for Arab security . -- More
