Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir said that Switzerland has offered to handle the interests of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Iran to facilitate travel for Iranian pilgrims wishing to perform Hajj or Umrah rituals, adding that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia appreciates and accepts that role. This came during a press conference Al-Jubeir held here today with Swiss Foreign Minister Didier Burkhalter. Al-Jubeir said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Switzerland have deep and positive relations, pointing out that there is a huge trade volume between the two countries. Al-Jubeir also said that his meeting with his Swiss counterpart addressed the developments in the region as well as means of enhancing bilateral relations in various fields. The Syrian crisis and the situation in Yemen and the region were also discussed. --More
