Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Sharq newspaper wrote in its editorial entitled "Kingdom's Humanity and Helping Refugees" that with the increased tension on all fronts of combat in the Arab world, and the deteriorating humanitarian situation, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues its role in providing humanitarian assistance continuously with a commitment to the payment of its agreed share, in addition to the parental support being provided permanently by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Yemeni people and the Syrian people who emigrated from their country because of the grinding wars ignited by the Syrian regime against its defenseless people. It further said that the Saudi Council of Ministers agreed in its weekly regular session yesterday that the Kingdom is pledging to present up to $ 290 million in addition to the original $ 780 million spent inside and outside Syria to provide the basic needs of Syrian refugees and their host countries. --More
