Yemen's army advances towards Sanaa, officers say

After having tightening its grip over Ghailama region, located in Mahali valley, the Yemeni army, assisted by the popular resistance, is advancing towards capital, Sanaa, officers said today.
In a statement to the state-run Yemen's News Agency, a military source said the army and the popular resistance have aborted a counter-attack by the Houthi militias to restore Masoura region which has fallen to them yesterday following fierce battles during which a rebel leader in addition to a number of soldiers were killed.
