At least 10 people were killed and about 40 injured Saturday in a suicide attack in Pakistan's southwestern province of Balochistan, officials said. The bombing in the provincial capital Quetta struck near an area where district court buildings are located, dpa reported. The explosion occurred as a vehicle from the paramilitary Frontier Corps was passing through, provincial government spokesman Anwarul Haq Kakar said. "So far 10 dead and 40 injured were brought to the Civil Hospital," Muhammad Tayyab, a doctor working in the emergency ward of the hospital, said. Two of the dead were security personnel, Kakar said. It was a suicide bombing and 8-10 kilograms of explosive were used, police official Imtiaz Shah said.
