The Minister of State for the Middle East of the British Foreign Office Tobias Ellwood has met recently members of Saudi-British Parliamentary Friendship Committee headed by the Chairman of the Committee Prince Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah bin Mishari at the Council's headquarters in Riyadh. During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom in various fields and the current situations in the region, particularly the strengthening of bilateral cooperation at the level of parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the British House of Lords and House of Commons. The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Simon Paul Collis and the delegation accompanying the minister.
