A private space company completed another successful unmanned rocket launch in West Texas with the same vehicle as November and with a safe landing, according to AP. Blue Origin, founded by Jeff Bezos (BAY'-zohs), announced the reusable New Shepard launched Friday near Van Horn, Texas, and returned to Earth with another upright landing. The Kent, Washington-based company also launched the New Shepard on Nov. 23 from the same site. New Shepard consists of a capsule designed to take people into space for suborbital flights someday, and a booster. In the November flight, the booster soared about 62 miles high and released the capsule, which parachuted to the ground. A Blue Origin statement says Friday's flight went more than 63 miles up.
