09 janvier 2016 (SPA) - Le Conseil a également exprimé son plein appui aux mesures prises par le Royaume d'Arabie Saoudite face aux attaques terroristes contre des missions diplomatiques en Iran, soulignant que les pays du CCG prendront d'autres mesures appropriées pour répondre à ces attaques, saluant le rejet catégorique de ces attaques par les pays arabes et islamiques et le Conseil de sécurité des Nations unies appelant tous les Etats et la communauté internationale ainsi que les organisations régionales et internationales à prendre des mesures sérieuses et efficaces pour prévenir de telles attaques contre des missions diplomatiques à l'Iran.
Le Conseil ministériel a condamné l'occupation continue de l'Iran des trois îles des Emirats arabes unis (Grande Tumb, Petite Tumb et d'Abou Moussa), de propager le conflit sectaire et de soutenir des organisations terroristes et des formations extrémistes, d'incitation aux troubles pour affecter la sécurité et la stabilité dans les pays du CCG, tel que le complot terroriste récemment déjoué au Bahrein, et l'arrestation d'éléments d'une nouvelle cellule terroriste qui recevait le soutien de la Garde révolutionnaire iranienne et du Hezbollah au Liban, Le Conseil des ministres a convenu d'un mécanisme efficace pour répondre à ces mode ingérence iranienne.
Le Conseil a exhorté la communauté internationale à prendre les mesures nécessaires pour contraindre l'Iran à respecter le principe de bon voisinage, et d'arrêter leurs activités de déstabilisation dans la région, et de cesser son soutien du terrorisme et la non-ingérence dans les affaires intérieures des pays du CCG et les pays de la région, et de la non-utilisation ou la menace de la force.
