U.S. Secretary of State Kerry speaks with Russian counterpart

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry spoke by telephone with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov Monday, the U.S. State Department said.
In a statement, U.S. State Department spokesperson John Kirby said that Kerry and Lavrov discussed the U.S.-Russia relationship, Syrian political process, fight against IS, Middle East regional issues, Ukraine and North Korea's recent nuclear test.
