The Secretary General of the Arab League Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi announced today that a closed consultation meeting at the Arab Foreign ministers level will be held in the United Arab Emirates end of this month in an unprecedented step to discuss foreign intervention in the Arab region as per a proposal presented earlier by the Arab League secretariat general to discuss all challenges facing the region, including the intervention of neighboring countries in Arab affairs. In a press conference here today Al-Arabi reviewed the outcome of the outgoing year 2015 yielded by the Arab League and the steps to be taken in support of Arab joint action in political, economic and social fields in the coming period. He said the issue of Arab neighboring countries' intervention has been dealt with by Sharm Al-Sheikh Arab summit, citing several interventions in other countries' affairs by Iran. The Arab foreign ministers have also repeatedly issued decisions rejecting Iran's intrusion in Bahrain, its occupation of three UAE-owned islands and other places, noting that those issues would be dealt in detail in the closed meeting. --More 18:08 LOCAL TIME 15:08 GMT تغريد
