The Bahraini authorities arrested today a suspect who has misused the electronic network and called out citizens to participate in unlicensed rallies and demonstrations, which resulted in the staging of several demonstrations, and in acts of violence and rioting in some instances. Legal measures were taken in this regard and the suspect was arrested. According to BNA, the Bahraini Public Prosecution said that the arrest was made according to a report by the Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security Directorate. "The Public Prosecution launched its investigation and faced the suspect with the evidence. The suspect admitted the charges against him. He was remanded in custody for seven days pending further investigations, ahead of referring the case to a criminal court," the statement added.
