Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Kingdom Sheikh Thamer Al-Sabah and Bahraini Ambassador Sheikh Hamoud Al Khalifa have recently visited the antiquities of Al-Hadar Center in Al-Aflaj Governorate. The visit included the monuments of the historical Sabha Palace in the city of Al-Hadar whose construction dated back to more than 400 years, and is one of the most important historical sites in Al-Aflaj Goverorate, where it was inhabited by Al-Sabah family and Al Khalifa family at that time. Sheikh Thamer Al-Sabah and Sheikh Hamoud Al Khalifa met during the visit the President of Al-Hadar center and a number of people, and had a luncheon prepared for them on this occasion, in the presence of Governor of Aflaj Zeid Al-Hussein. The Kuwaiti and Bahraini Ambassadors pointed to the importance of exchange of visits between members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States, and watching such archaeological and heritage sites, as the GCC states are characterized by the unity of history and civilization as well as common social and cultural ties. -- SPA 16:05 LOCAL TIME 13:05 GMT تغريد
