Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Jazirah newspaper commented on the conference on Syria's support held recently in the United Nations Organization's Headquarters, saying that the attendees have suffered much of Iran's attempts to obstruct the international consensus by practicing the same behavior pursued by the representatives of the Iranian mullahs regime in any talks in which they have participated, and on which they trained their agents, whether in Lebanon or Yemen and even in Iraq. It pointed out that the bases of the International Conference on Support of Syria, were laid out after a number of meetings of which the most recent one was in Vienna, and because Iran was absent from those meetings, the talks have gone smoothly and the major powers, particularly the United States and Russia have reached a scheme to develop a road map that will be implemented in phases.
