United Nations Development Programme has praised the assistance provided by Riyadh-based King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works in September 2015 for the needy in Yemen. As part of a report on the program's achievement in the field of the provision of food security and development support at the Yemeni arena, the New-York-based international organization said the center has responded to a call to provide relief for Yemenis through two important programs: emergency food and agricultural security and protection of provinces. The report cited thanking and acknowledging comments of many household wives and orphans who received relief items from the center.
