Sharq recalled that the legitimate authorities in Yemen, whose political power in the capital Sanaa and several urban centers in Yemen was usurped by Houthi rebels, have repeatedly called for the resumption of a political process based on respect of the State power and all its institutions. However, despite going together to Geneva six months ago to discuss power transfer and reforms in Yemen, the legitimate government and rebels are still apart and far from rapprochement or agreement with the Houthi militias and their supporter ex-deposed-president Ali Saleh selling time and showing negligence, the paper said. The paper concluded that the Geneva round of talks has consolidated a belief most likely adopted by all Yemenis that the rebels don't like to negotiate anything and that they opt to dash away any opportunity to reach peace on the ground. --More 12:05 LOCAL TIME 09:05 GMT تغريد
