Two Syrian monitoring groups are reporting that the U.S.-led coalition has targeted oil facilities run by the ISIS group in eastern Syria, AP reported. The airstrikes came hours after British Parliament voted to authorize air attacks against ISIS targets in Syria. British warplanes carried out airstrikes in Syria early Thursday, taking off from the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said warplanes struck areas near the oil fields of Omar, Tanak and Jafra in the eastern province of Deir el-Zour.
