The Amiri Diwan in Kuwait announced on Sunday a decree to amend the formation of the current cabinet in accordance with the constitution. The decree accepted the resignation of Minister of Public Works and Minister of Electricity and Water Ahmad Khaled Ahmad Al-Jassar. The decree appointed Deputy Premier and Finance Minister Anas Al-Saleh, in addition to his post, as Acting Minister of Oil. Dr. Ali Saleh Al-Omair was named Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs. Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, in addition to his post, was named as Acting Minister of Electricity and Water. According to the decree, the Prime Minister should notify the National Assembly of these amendments and it should be effective as of the date of issuing, KUNA reported.
