The Joint Bahraini-French Committee held its second meeting here yesterday. The Kingdom of Bahrain's delegation was headed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary, Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla, while the French side was headed by Ambassador Jerome Bonnafont, Director of North Africa and Middle East Directorate at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development. The meeting discussed issues related to bolstering cooperation between the two countries, affirming the strength of bilateral ties, the importance of bolstering cooperation in various political, economic and media fields as well as cooperation in the education fields, encouraging investment and the exchange of trade. It also focused on the latest regional and international developments of mutual interest. In this regard, the Kingdom of Bahrain condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Paris, affirming Bahrain's solidarity and support to the French Republic in combating such heinous acts, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
