France's public prosecutor announced on Saturday the release of seven people who were detained during a violent raid north of Paris in connection with last week's terrorist attacks, according to French media. French police launched the raid on an apartment in the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis on Wednesday to capture 28-year-old Abdelhamid Abaaoud, a Belgian of Moroccan origin and the suspected mastermind in the November 13 shootings and bombings that left at least 130 people dead and 352 injured. Police found the bodies of Abaaoud, his female cousin Hasna Aitboulahcen and one other unidentified man after the raid. They also took eight people who were inside or near the stormed building into custody, dpa reported. An eighth person, a young man who allowed the apartment to be used by the terrorists, remained in custody, Saturday's reports said. Paris authorities also said Saturday that a ban on demonstrations in the French capital, one of the measures enacted by President Francois Hollande following the terrorist attacks, has been extended to November 30 at midnight.
