Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabiah met in the Turkish city of Antalya today, with Turkish economy minister Nihat Zeybekci, on the sidelines the summit of leaders of the countries of the Group of Twenty, currently held in Turkey. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest between the two countries. The Turkish minister noted the positive echoes of the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Turkey, stressing the importance of Saudi-Turkish integration in economic and development fields and his country's desire to discuss a draft free trade agreement between the two countries. In turn, the Minister of Commerce and Industry said that the trade exchange between the Kingdom and Turkey has doubled in size during the period from 2009 to 2014 from 12 billion to more than 24 billion riyals highlighting prospect for increased investments between the two countries.
