Andy Murray beat Spain's David Ferrer for the 11th time in his career, with the Scot's 6-4, 6-3 win on Saturday propelling him to his first career final at the Paris Masters. Murray, whose previous best showings at the Bercy arena were four quarter-final appearances, will wait for a Sunday opponent as top seed Novak Djokovic puts a 20-match win streak on the line against Stan Wawrinka, who beat him for the Roland Garros title five months ago. Murray now stands 11-6 over Ferrer as both men prepare for the World Tour Finals in London starting next Sunday. And Murray also has a chance at earning the year-end number two ranking behind Djokovic should he win the Paris title. Murray increased his winning streak against the 33-year-old Ferrer to four consecutive matches in his 95-minute win, where he broke the Spaniard five times, dpa reported.
