Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Watan and Okaz newspapers commented on Yemeni issue, saying that the call by the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon the day before yesterday for the Yemeni government to participate in a new round of negotiations with the Houthi perpetrators of the coup and the ousted President's allies in Geneva at the end of October, should focus on the seriousness of the parties involved for the salvation of Yemen. They showed that it is logical that the government's response is to adopt the implementation of Security Council Resolution No. 2216 as a main axis for the negotiations, as well as the commitment to the GCC initiative, which was launched to save Yemen but it was thwarted by the ousted President's plotting with Houthis who sent their militias to the capital Sana'a upon Iranian directives. --More 11:25 LOCAL TIME 08:25 GMT تغريد
