Hungary closed its border with Croatia to migrants and refugees Saturday, with Zagreb officials saying that they will next channel people toward Slovenia, dpa reported. The closure applied only to migrants - mostly refugees from the Middle East - while regular traffic continued unhindered, witnesses from the Beremend crossing said shortly after the implementation at midnight Friday. With thousands of refugees pouring in from Serbia, after they traveled from Turkey, across Greece and Macedonia, Croatian Interior Minister Ranko Ostojic said Friday that Zagreb will send them to Slovenia by trains and buses.
